Deep Tissue

Slow, firm strokes that reach deeper muscle layers — built for chronic tension, not light relaxation.

Deep Tissue

What is Deep Tissue?

Deep tissue massage uses slow, firm strokes and sustained pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, targeting knots and chronic tension that a lighter massage can’t fully release.

It is more intense than our Balinese or Traditional massage, and is best suited to guests who specifically want strong, therapeutic pressure rather than a purely relaxing experience.

Best for guests with chronic muscle tension who specifically want strong, therapeutic pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be sore after a deep tissue massage?

Mild soreness for a day afterward is normal, similar to how muscles feel after exercise. Drinking water after your session can help. If you experience sharp or lasting pain, contact us.

Is deep tissue massage suitable for beginners?

If you've never had a deep tissue massage before, let your therapist know — they can start with moderate pressure and increase it gradually within the session rather than going straight to maximum intensity.
